We learn the place

Your landmarks, your collection, the details visitors photograph. We start with what makes your destination itself.

We design and prototype

Original artwork and 3D models, reviewed with you before anything is made.

We make it in small batches

Most pieces come out of our own Cincinnati workshop. The rest come from a few select producers whose work fits a place. Either way: low minimums, and reorders in weeks, not seasons.

Our story

Where it started

The gift shop is the last room a visitor walks through, and too often it is the one room that could be anywhere. Meridian started with that gap: a place worth the trip deserves a keepsake that could only have come from there.

John and Peggy Kennedy started Meridian in Cincinnati. They share a belief that a keepsake should carry something of the place it represents — its character, its stories, and the details that make it memorable.

Most of what we sell is made in our own Cincinnati workshop. The rest comes from select producers we chose because their work belongs to a place. That is the purpose behind Meridian: keepsakes that visitors choose for their connection to a destination.
